Fly into Entebbe International Airport and take a private car or taxi to Kabale, a town located at the foot of the Virunga Mountains. Check into Nyamunyonyi Tourism Resort and spend the rest of the day resting or exploring the town.

After breakfast, take a scenic drive to Lake Mutanda, which is located about 20 kilometers from Kabale. You can spend the day exploring the area around the lake, which is surrounded by lush hills and offers stunning views of the Virunga Mountains. You can go for a boat ride on the lake or take a hike in the nearby hills.
